Motorcyclist (20s) dies following single-vehicle crash in Co Wexford

The L4016 is currently closed as a technical examination of the scene is being conducted.

A MOTORCYCLIST HAS died following a single-vehicle crash in Co Wexford. 

The incident happened on the L4016 near Glenour, Adamstown at around 9.20pm last night.

The man, aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body has been taken to the mortuary in University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem examination will take place. 

The L4016 is currently closed as a technical examination of the scene by garda forensic collision investigators is being conducted. Local diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward.

Any road users who were travelling on the L4016 between 9pm and 9.30pm yesterday are asked to make contact with investigating gardaí.

Anyone with camera footage, including mobile phone or dash-cam footage, is also asked to make that footage available to gardaí.
