• The National Directorate for Fire and Emergency Management (NDFEM) has said work is underway to address the “significant damage” to electricity supply caused by Storm Amy, which passed over the country yesterday.

#UKRAINE: A Russian drone strike on a railway station in the northeastern Ukrainian region of Sumy has injured at least 30 people.

STORM AMY YESTERDAY caused havoc at Dublin Airport as 115 flights were cancelled and its bars were closed early, but it also tried to steal the ‘C’ off its sign.

Thankfully, the airport’s asset team stepped in and “saved the day”.
