One person dead after two-vehicle crash in Co Tyrone

Police in Northern Ireland said the collision happened on the Clanabogan Road at around 9.10am on Sunday.

ONE PERSON HAS died following a two-vehicle crash in Co Tyrone. 

Police in Northern Ireland said the collision involving a Volvo and a Mazda happened on the Clanabogan Road at around 9.10am on Sunday. 

Emergency services, including the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene.

“However, sadly one person was pronounced deceased at the scene,” said Detective Inspector Dave Stewart, from the PSNI Collision Investigation Unit.

The Clanabogan Road was closed for a time but has since reopened.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have any information which could assist with their investigation – including dash-cam or other footage – to contact the Collision Investigation Unit.
