One woman killed and three injured in Kerry crash

One person was killed and three others were injured in a crash in Co Kerry yesterday evening.

ONE WOMAN HAS died and three other people have been seriously injured in a road crash in Co Kerry.

The incident involved a Toyota Corolla car and a Ford transit van, which collided at about 7.15pm last night at Madlagh, Fossa, on the Killarney to Killorglin Road.

The woman who lost her life was in her sixties and from Cahirciveen. She was a passenger in the car.

The two other occupants of the car, a man and a woman both aged in their 60s, were injured – the man seriously. The driver of the van, a male aged in his 30s, was also seriously injured. They were all taken to Kerry General Hospital in Tralee.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the accident.
