Pedestrian in serious condition following collision in Blackrock

The incident occurred at around 8pm on Frascati Road.

A PEDESTRIAN IS in a serious condition in hospital following a traffic incident in Dublin earlier this evening.

The collision occurred just before 8pm this evening in Blackrock.

The pedestrian was struck by a car on Frascati Road.

Both the driver and the female pedestrian have been rushed to hospital.

The road currently remains closed.

Witnesses are asked to contact Blackrock Garda Station on 01 666 5200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
