PEREZ HILTON IS being criticised for posting a photo of himself having a shower with his two-year-old son on Instagram.
The image was posted with the caption, “Our family motto is: #fun! We try and incorporate fun into as much of the everyday things we do! #Bathtime.”
However, the post is now the centre of a controversy with some people even branding the photo as child abuse.
Mother-of-one Sonia Poulton told ITV’s This Morning that Perez was ignorant to post the picture showing his child in the shower because paedophiles can view it.
For me it’s not the photo, as a mother myself I bathe with my daughter regularly and plan to show her boyfriend those photos at some stage in the future to embarrass her as we’ve all done as parents. But it’s the putting it online.
Perez has since said:
Everyone does what they see fit as a parent. Personally, I enjoy putting on my swim trunks and taking a shower with my son as often as possible.
“I’d rather do that than leave him unattended, which will not happen until he’s older and I’m confident he can be safe alone.”
The photo has drawn mixed reaction on Twitter.
What do you think? Is there any problem with Perez Hilton showering with his son?
