Do you keep cash for emergencies?

While we become increasingly reliant on technology, Ireland has seen frequent power outages from storms.

IRISH HOUSEHOLDS ARE expected to be advised to keep a small sum of cash for emergency situations – such as when power outages are widespread and persistent due to weather conditions, or in the case of a cyber attack.

People have previously been advised to limit the amount of cash they keep in their home or on their person in case of theft.

So today we’re asking you: Do you keep cash for emergencies?

Poll Results:

Yes (5471)
No (4824)
I typically use cash anyway (1338)
