Prisoner dies in Mountjoy
GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING the death of a female prisoner at the Dóchas Centre in Mountjoy Jail in the early hours of this morning. The woman was serving a life sentence for murder. Her body was discovered during a routine inspection before 1am. A coroner’s inquiry is expected to establish the cause of death, but foul play is not suspected.
