'This way if you are gay': The week in quotes

Here’s who said what and what was said.

IT WAS A week when Prince Harry spoke of his Royal Baby plans, Sweden showed the world their interesting technique for deterring Russian submarines and more people had their say in the same-sex marriage debate.

Instead of an older person traditionally using the position to ease themselves into retirement, wouldn’t it be fantastic if we have a young person who was able to inject enthusiasm and energy into it, and represent Ireland at the international level which would be exciting for the world to see Ireland as in the 21st century?

Mairead Healy, Chief Executive of Future Voices Ireland, called for a Yes vote in referendum to lower the age requirement for presidential candidates.
