Gardaí arrest fourth person over fatal Rialto stabbing

The fourth person arrested, a male teenager, was taken into Garda custody yesterday evening.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING the fatal stabbing of a German man in Rialto have arrested a fourth person in connection with their investigations.

The male teenager was arrested yesterday evening.

The teen is being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.

The three people previously arrested in connection with the attack on early Saturday morning – including two other teenagers and a woman in her 40s – were released without charge yesterday.

A second person who was stabbed in the incident, outside the Herberton Apartments on St Anthony’s Road, remains in hospital.
