This hardware store's 'gay' Christmas ad has left everyone scratching their heads

“We’re Robert Dyas and we’re gay. And straight. And bi…” Wh-what?

UK hardware store Robert Dyas uploaded this Christmas ad to YouTube earlier this week – it features various staff members and customers proclaiming themselves as gay, straight, or bisexual, and it’s utterly confusing.

Yes, you did just hear a man saying:


The ad has gone viral on social media with people wondering what the hell is going on. Is it a spoof, or sincere?

But other people cracked it – the ad is very similar to this 2009 parody video by YouTubers Rhett & Link, which did the same thing except with β€˜black’ and β€˜white’.
