SLING YER HOOK, John Lewis. Another shop named after a man has taken your Christmas ad crown.
UK hardware store Robert Dyas uploaded this Christmas ad to YouTube earlier this week – it features various staff members and customers proclaiming themselves as gay, straight, or bisexual, and it’s utterly confusing.
Yes, you did just hear a man saying:
The ad has gone viral on social media with people wondering what the hell is going on. Is it a spoof, or sincere?
But other people cracked it – the ad is very similar to this 2009 parody video by YouTubers Rhett & Link, which did the same thing except with ‘black’ and ‘white’.
