Six injured in serious two-car collision in Dublin

Gardaí are appealing for information about early morning collision on Cloverhill Road.

SIX PEOPLE ARE receiving hospital treatment for injuries sustained in a two-car collision on the Cloverhill Road this morning.

The crash occurred at around 5.10am.

There was one male driver in his early 30s in one vehicle, and five in the other car. The five – one woman and four men – were all aged in their 20s and 30s.

Three of the injured were taken to St James’ Hospital and three to Tallaght Hospital.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information about the collision to contact Ronanstown Garda Station on 01 666 7700, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any garda station.

The road between the junction of Cloverhill Road and Cherry Orchard and the Cloverhill Road and Coldcut is closed to facilitate forensic collision investigators at the scene and diversions are in place.
