A sniffer dog discovered these drugs at Portlaoise mail centre today

Stella gave a positive reaction to a parcel on its way to Dublin City.

DRUGS WORTH AROUND €80,000 were discovered by a sniffer dog at Portlaoise mail centre today.

The 4kgs of herbal cannabis was discovered by Revenue’s sniffer dog Stella.

The dog gave a positive reaction to a parcel that had been consigned from Southeast Africa to an address in Dublin City.

Revenue says that investigations are on-going.
