SHAMROCK ROVERS’ CRUMLIN-BORN defender Pico Lopes and first-time qualifiers Cape Verde take on world champions Argentina on Friday night.

Ireland face the Wallabies in Sydney as Test rugby raises the curtain on its inaugural Nations Cup. Cork face Galway, and Limerick take on Clare, as each side seeks to book its place in the All-Ireland senior hurling final.

And on Sunday night, Erling Haaland and Norway face the might of Brazil for a place inthe last 16 of the World Cup.
