Teen charged over stolen car found at vacant house

Gardaí had been called to suspicious activity at the house in Meath in the early hours of this morning.

AN 18-YEAR-old has been arrested in Meath in connection with a stolen car found at a vacant house.

Gardaí were alerted to suspicious activity at a vacant house in the Mornington area at 5.45am following reports of a stolen car being abandoned by a number of men earlier in the morning.

An 18-year-old male was arrested near the scene in connection with the investigation.

Gardaí said today he has been charged and will appear before Drogheda District Court on 27 May.
