Tenth person arrested in connection with Finglas shooting

A 26-year-old was arrested in Bray yesterday afternoon in connection with the shooting last December.

GARDAI SAY THEY have arrested a tenth person in connection with a shooting outside a Finglas pub in Dublin late last year.

A 26-year-old man is being detained at Finglas Garda station after he was arrested in Bray yesterday afternoon under section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act.

Gardaí had previously arrested nine other people in connection with the shooting but all were released without charge.

A file has been forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A 40-year-old man was shot and injured outside The Cappagh Nua pub on Barry Road in Finglas at around 8.30pm on 30 December last year.
