Three men arrested after handgun found in car in Wicklow
A handgun was recovered during the search of a car at a Garda check point last night.
GARDAÍ ARRESTED THREE men in Co Wicklow last night after a handgun was found in the car they were travelling in.
The three men were arrested after a handgun was found at routine Garda check point at Coolbeg in Ashford, Co Wicklow at around 11pm last night.
The three men, aged 24, 28, and 34, have all been detained at Wicklow Garda station under the Offences against the State Act.
Gardaí said their investigations were continuing.
