1. #BODY FOUND: The body of a 23-year-old man was discovered at a house in Tipperary yesterday evening. A preliminary post-mortem is being carried out at the scene by the deputy State pathologist.  

2. #AIR ASIA: Three bodies have been discovered in the search for the AirAsia flight that crashed into the Java Sea. Earlier reports had said as many as 40 had been found.

3. #SON OF SAM: Timothy Dowd, the Kerryman detective who led the successful capture of the Son of Sam killer, has died aged 99.

4. #PHILOSOPHY: The Department of Education has confirmed to TheJournal.ie that it intends to introduce philosophy at Junior Cycle level in time for 2017.

5. #DRUGS: Gardaí are investigating an incident where a man in his fifties died from a drug overdose at a house in Tallaght on Sunday.  The death is not being treated as suspicious.
