Two arrested over cannabis plant seizure

The men were taken into custody after gardaí discovered cannabis plants at an industrial unit in Tallaght, Dublin.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested in Dublin after gardaí seized a quantity of cannabis plants in Tallaght.

Gardaí from the National and Tallaght Drugs Units searched an industrial unit in Tallaght earlier today and discovered cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €360,000, subject to further analysis.

Two men, aged 29 and 39, have been arrested in connection with the discovery and are being held at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
