Two arrests in Eamon Dunne murder investigation

Two men in their 20s have been arrested following a number of searches this morning.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested in connection with the murder of Eamon Dunne in Dublin nearly two years ago.

Gardaí say that two men in their late 20s have been arrested following a number of searches this morning.

Dunne, 34, was shot dead in Fassaugh House Pub on Fassaugh Avenue in Cabra, Dublin on 23 April 2010. He was suspected of being involved in gangland activity and was known in some circles as ‘The Don’.

The two men are being held under the provisions of section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 at Mountjoy and Store Street Garda stations.
