Two men stabbed in Limerick incident

The two men in their 20s are in a non-critical condition following the stabbings in O’Malley Park in the Southhill area of the city earlier this morning.

TWO MEN ARE in hospital after they were stabbed in the early hours of this morning in Limerick city.

The two men in their 20s are in a non-critical condition following the stabbings in O’Malley Park in the Southhill area of the city at about 2.30am this morning.

The 26-year-old man suffered superficial wounds to his chest while the 24-year-old suffered head injuries, RTÉ reports.

Both men are at the Mid Western Regional Hospital.

Gardaí have told TheJournal.ie this morning that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident and an investigation is ongoing.
