TWO TEENAGERS are among three men killed in separate road crashes in Mayo, Monaghan and Tyrone today.

RTÉ reports that a 19-year-old man died after a two-car collision on the Headford to Ballinrobe Road outside Shrule in Co Mayo this morning. The driver of the second car was injured but not seriously.

Meanwhile in Monaghan, gardaí are investigating the discovery of a 20-year-old man’s body on a minor road at Lemgare, Clontibret in Co Monaghan by a passerby this morning.

It’s believed the death occurred in the early hours of this morning when the man was dropped off by a taxi in the area. It is thought he may have been hit by a passing vehicle.
