Video: Car catches fire on Dublin's M50

Emergency services later cleared the car that had caught fire on the Dublin motorway. Gardaí said there were no injuries.

TRAFFIC NO DOUBT slowed on Dublin’s M50 southbound this evening as motorists saw a car on fire on the side of the road just after the Sandyford exit.

The incident happened at around 5pm this evening during rush hour traffic but Gardaí said there were no injuries reported.

Emergency services arrived on the scene and were able to deal with the fire which was cleared by around 6.15pm, AA Roadwatch said.
