IN THE LEAD-up to Valentine’s Day this Saturday, you might be looking for some inspiration in the love department.

Forget your fancy gurus or online experts. Turn to those who’ll tell you what love is really about: Irish pensioners.

As one of them put it:

There was no romance and flowers like nowadays, and bringing you away to Paris and all that, are you mad? That was never even heard of.
