Waterford whale to be brought to rendering plant tomorrow

THE 35-FOOT SPERM WHALE which washed up in Waterford on Friday, and which died on Saturday morning, is to be disposed of tomorrow. Local radio station WLRFM reports that Waterford County Council will tomorrow bring the whale to a rendering plant, which it says is the most efficient way of dealing with the carcass, where it will be disposed of.
