Young woman dies in Tipperary car crash
A 24-year-old woman was killed this morning in a single car collision in Thurles.
A WOMAN IN her twenties has died following a car crash in Tipperary this morning.
The 24-year-old was killed when the car she was driving left the road and overturned at Garranacool, Ballingarry in Thurles.
Gardaí investigating the collision believe the incident happened sometime between midnight and 7am this morning.
The road is currently closed for forensic examinations and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the crash to contact them on 0504-25100 or on the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111.
Investigating Gardaí have also asked for information from anybody who travelled on that road between midnight and 7am today or anyone who may have seen a red Toyota Starlet in the area between those hours.
