Gardaí appeal for witnesses after man seriously injured in two-car crash

The incident happened at about 5pm yesterday evening at Ballycampion, Bruff in Co Limerick at 5pm.

GARDAÍ HAVE APPEALED for witnesses after a man was seriously injured in a two-car collision in Limerick yesterday.

The incident happened at about 5pm yesterday evening at Ballycampion, Bruff in Co Limerick at 5pm.

Two lone drivers were involved in the crash. A man (early 30s) was seriously injured and was taken immediately to Limerick University Hospital before being transferred to Cork University Hospital.

The driver of the other car, a woman aged in her late-thirties, was also taken to the hospital but her injuries were less-serious and not life-threatening.

Gardaí in Bruff are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have been on the road around the time of the collision to come forward.
