I am going home tonight :))

sadly my son his wife and grandson who we have never seen cant come home haven’t seen son since 2010 his son was born in 2011 .. heartbreaking not to see them

After a terrible year with mum passing away. My sister, her husband and niece are coming to stay with me and my partner, John for Christmas. They are coming from UK. I know it’s not that far, but to me it’s the other side of the world.

My boyfriend and I are flying into Dublin in the morning! Bye bye London for a week… 8hours of work to go!!

Picking my cousin, who is also my Godson, up on Christmas Eve morning from New York at Dublin airport & then heading to Galway. We haven’t seen ‘the brat’ since Sept 2011, so looking forward to a complete family this year! Merry Christmas everyone.

I’m looking forward to my son coming home for 10 days, he’s only in the UK but its not by choice and I miss him very much! Mammy that I am!

Flying home on Sunday night from Switzerland for the first time in nearly six months. So excited to see the family and meet my little newphew for the first time! Nollaig shona dhaoibh go leir!

I wish, wish, wish I was one of those people at the airport welcoming my sister and her family home from Australia…I miss her so much and even more at this time of year. Maybe next year…

I’m in bits here and I have to teach a class soon…God I so wish I was coming through that arrivals gate and meeting all my family for Christmas!!!! About another 8 weeks or so for me…. Returning after a year away in Korea.. Hope I get some balloons! Everyone, enjoy having your family home and Merry Christmas xxx

I flew in last night from London, so happy to be back for a little while!!

Flying in from Sweden on Sunday for 10 days. Looking so forward to it. Pity it’ll go so quickly.

This is my first Christmas away from home. Left Ireland in October and still trying to adjust.. Never thought I’d leave cos im a true home bird.. It’s tough not being able to go home but Skype will help a bit.. When I find it hard to continue I think how did people manage when there was no internet etc.. Dat makes me a bit stronger but not really looking forward to Christmas.. To anyone in the same position as me, stay strong, your going through this to make a better life for yourself, it’s worth it in the long run.. Merry Christmas to all back home..
