Puppies, pugs and birds stolen from Kerry pet farm

The robbery has been described as “thuggery”.

FOUR PUPPIES WERE stolen in an overnight burglary from a Kerry pet farm.

The puppies, along with a golden retriever, a medium-sized chihuahua, three pugs and four puppies were stolen from Kennedy’s Pet Farm in Killarney overnight.

Golden and silver pheasants were also taken in the robbery.

Noreen Kennedy, whose son Gerry owns the farm, told TheJournal.ie that she was particularly worried about the two-week-old puppies.

“They’re a mixture, so they’re worthless to anyone but us. But they need care. They need their mother.”

Noreen says that there was between six and eight people who ransacked the premises, overturning a coffee shop and stealing animals.

“What they did was thuggery. They messed up the coffee shop, ran through where we keep the beautiful birds.

“We just want the animals back.”
