Get stranded on the Luas Green Line tonight? Here's why

Tickets will be valid on Dublin Bus on Wednesday morning.

THE LUAS GREEN Line service was disrupted after a car drove ended up on the tracks tonight.

A car collided with a power transformer on the line at the top of the Ballyogan Road, between The Gallops and Glencairn stops.

After the incident, which took place at about 10.15pm, the line was operating from St Stephen’s Green to Sandyford.

Tomorrow morning, in addition to Luas tickets being valid on Dublin Bus, Finnegan bus service will serve all Luas stops between Brides Glen and St Stephen’s Green.  

There were 88,000 journeys on the Luas EVERY DAY this year

Dawson Street WILL get a northbound Luas stop after all
