Man (30) dies in hospital following Galway crash

The man was struck by a car yesterday.

A MAN WHO was left in a serious condition following a road traffic incident in Galway yesterday morning has died of his injuries.

The pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision at Bushy Park on the Moycullen Road in Galway. He was pronounced dead in University Hospital Galway yesterday evening.

Gardai said the local coroner has been notified and a post-mortem will be carried out over the coming days.

Garda forensic collision investigators have examined the scene and the road has fully reopened to traffic.
