Man (30) dies in hospital following Galway crash

A MAN WHO was left in a serious condition following a road traffic incident in Galway yesterday morning has died of his injuries.

The pedestrian was seriously injured in a collision at Bushy Park on the Moycullen Road in Galway. He was pronounced dead in University Hospital Galway yesterday evening.

Gardai said the local coroner has been notified and a post-mortem will be carried out over the coming days.

Garda forensic collision investigators have examined the scene and the road has fully reopened to traffic.
Investigating gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses to contact Galway garda station on 091-538000, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
