MILLIONS OF PEOPLE are casting their vote in the UK General Election this morning. Polls opened at 7am at around 50,000 venues across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
When the dust settles at the end of what could be a long process either Conservative David Cameron or Labour’s Ed Miliband will be Prime Minister (it’s complicated).
Our deeply intertwined economies trade over a billion euro worth of goods and services every week – and while (obviously) we’ve no say in the issue, you can bet politicians here will be taking a huge interest in the results of the election.
