3. Russian strikes across Ukraine killed three people and wounded several more, authorities have said.

4. US president Donald Trump has said his administration is “going to de-escalate a little bit” in Minneapolis following large-scale protests that have taken place in the city following the shooting of Alex Pretti.

6. Taxi app Freenow will today tell an Oireachtas Committee that close to two-thirds of taxi drivers have ended shifts early due to safety concerns.

7. Homes have been evacuated in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford as Storm Chandra has subjected the town to what locals said was its worst flooding in a generation.
