QueerMania & Absolut Vodka present 'The Grand Return'

Get yourself down to this showcase of talent this January in The Sound House.

LOOKING FOR A night out that brings something different to the table?

QueerMania, in partnership with Absolut Vodka, has put together a host of incredible shows in Dublin over the past year, and 2023 looks set to continue the trend. QueerMania is a brand new show that features an abundance of queer talent guaranteed to entertain you till the wee hours of the morning.

The show will be hosted by Jack O’Connor, Dylan Jordan, and Nikkie Stones, who will also all be performing on the night. Joining them to showcase their talents will be a number of drag performers and non-drag performers, providing excellent variety over the night.

Goblins Goblins Goblins will be performing stand-up as part of a drag performance, and will share the stage with three other queens, Taffy Taffy and the hosts Dylan Jordan and Nikkie Stones.

The show will feature QueerMania’s first commercial dancer, Adam Norris, and a burlesque performance from Aurora Divine, alongside singers Owen Rua and host Jack O’Connor

QueerMania host and co-creator Jack O’Connor gave us the inside scoop on the event:

QueerMania was originally a concept in my head. There are loads of queer nights [in Dublin], but there’s not that many other than drag events, none that showed off other talents such as singer-songwriters, dancers, burlesque.”

Jack teamed up with the other host Dylan Jordan, and they have successfully ran events in Dublin for the past year, including big celebrations around Pride and Halloween.

Jack said those in attendance can expect an “action-filled night.”

It’s a night filled with different types of talent. Half the cast is going to be drag performers, so lip sync performances and a bit of stand-up comedy as well. Then we’ll have live singers, burlesque, and then we’re going to have a commercial dancer for the first time and we can’t wait for that.”

The show will take place in The Sound House on Sunday January 29th, doors open at 7:30pm with the show starting at approximately 8:30pm. Limited Early Bird Tickets are available for €12.50 with General Admission available for €15 once Early Birds sell out.

QueerMania and Absolut Vodka are partnering for ‘The Grand Return’. Tickets are available to purchase here. This will be an 18+ event, ID may be asked for upon entry.
