It is believed the woman was followed into the bathroom.
GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING an alleged sexual assault of a woman in a McDonalds fast food restaurant in Cork last week.
It is believed that the alleged assault took place in the toilet of the restaurant after the woman was followed in by a man.

The incident occurred at Daunts Square in Cork City last Monday at approximately 3.30am.
Gardaí confirmed that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
No arrests have been made in connection to the alleged assault.
