Now that it’s a two-way race for the Áras, who will you vote for?

And then there were two.

AS YOU MAY know, Jim Gavin has withdrawn from the presidential race.

The Fianna Fáil candidate announced his decision last night, saying that recent days “have given me cause to reflect,” following reports that he allegedly failed to repay a tenant €3,300 in rent mistakenly paid over a decade ago.

Gavin’s shock withdrawal comes less than 20 days before voters head to the polls on 24 October.

That leaves the race for the Áras as a two-way contest between Independent Catherine Connolly and Fine Gael’s Heather Humphreys.

So, with Jim Gavin out of the race, we’re asking: Who will you vote for now?

Poll Results:

Catherine Connolly (6970)
Heather Humphreys (4129)
I'm not voting for either (3219)
Undecided/I'd rather not say (1304)
