Weather warning issued due to lack of rain in coming week

A WEATHER ADVISORY will remain in place for Leinster and Munster until next Wednesday.
Met Éireann has issued the Status Yellow warning due to the lack of rainfall expected in these provinces over the next week.
“Soil moisture deficits will generally remain in excess of 75mm over the coming week,” it said.
Another update on the situation is due on 25 July.
The latest warning kicked in at 3pm today and will remain in place until 3pm next Wednesday. A number of similar warnings have been issued in recent weeks.
Forecast
Apart from the odd isolated shower, tonight will be dry with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Minimum temperatures will range from seven to 11 degrees Celsius – it’ll be coolest inland.
Tomorrow will be mainly dry with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. However, cloud will thicken during the afternoon in northern and western areas with patchy rain edging into northwestern counties towards the evening.
Top temperatures will range from 18 to 23 degrees with highest values across Munster and Leinster.
