Remains found on Donegal coast belonged to animal, not human
The remains were found on the coast at Maghery near Dungloe at 6.30pm yesterday.
GARDAÍ HAVE SAID remains discovered in Donegal yesterday are animal remains, not partial human remains as had previously been thought.
The remains were found on the coast at Maghery near Dungloe at 6.30pm yesterday.
They were removed to the mortuary at Letterkenny Hospital for a post-mortem examination and the office of the State Pathologist was notified.
Gardaí confirmed this afternoon that following further investigation the remains belonged to an animal.
