Boy (8) in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by car in Meath

The boy was brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD boy has been hit by a car in Co Meath.

Gardaí are investigating the incident, which occurred at Abbeylands South, Navan, at about 3pm today.

The boy was brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, where his injuries are described as serious.
