A child has died after an incident involving a window blind cord in Cork city.
AN INFANT HAS died after an incident involving a window blind cord in her Cork city home today.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Dublin Hill at lunchtime.
The one-year-old girl was taken to Cork University Hospital, where she later passed away.
A Garda investigation has been launched.
