A 51-YEAR-old man was killed in a road crash in Cork yesterday after his car left the road and collided with another.
The crash occurred at Glen Avenue in Blackpool at 7.50pm yesterday. The man, who was the sole occupant of his vehicle, suffered fatal injuries.
No one was inside the other vehicle, which was parked in a car park beside the road.
The 51-year-old was taken to Cork University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The scene is currently preserved and a post-mortem is to be arranged.
