Could this be what the iPhone 5 will look like?

The latest rumours surrounding the next generation iPhone have been fed into this mock up created for the tech website This Is My Next.

RUMOURS ABOUT WHAT the next generation iPhone will feature and how it will look are already in full swing ahead of an anticipated launch later this year.

The latest information to emerge is this mock up from Joshua Topolsky on This Is My Next which gives an indication of what changes might be afoot in terms of the phone’s design.

According to the mock up, the phone will be thinner and have a teardrop-like design in going from thick at the top to thin at the bottom, much in the same way a MacBook Air does.

The home button is larger suggesting there is scope for some swiping gestures like ones that feature on a MacBook trackpad.

As reported last week, the new iPhone is likely to have a new iOS (operating system) which is likely to have enhanced multi-tasking features.

But for the moment, it all remains speculation.
