Appeal for witnesses launched after man in his 30s killed in Dublin crash

Investigating gardaí are appealing for anyone who was at the crash and has not yet come forward.

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for witnesses after a man in his 30s died after his moped collided with a car in north inner city Dublin yesterday evening.

The crash happened at about 7.30pm at the junction of Sherrard Street and the North Circular Road near Drumcondra.

The moped driver was seriously injured and was treated at the scene, before being taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The driver of the car received minor injuries.

Investigating gardaí are appealing for witnesses and in particular to anyone who was at the crash site when the collision occurred and has not yet come forward.
