A MAN HAS been arrested in connection with the murder of Dean Johnson in Clondalkin.
Gardaí in Lucan investigating the murder of Johnson on 24 August 2013 at Neilstown Road, Clondalkin, have arrested a male aged 23 years in Dublin.
The man was arrested yesterday and is being detained at Lucan Garda station under the provisions of section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 as amended.
Earlier this month, gardaí carried out searches in Ronanstown, Clondalkin, Cabra and Kilcock related to the murder. They recovered a sawn-off shotgun, ammunition and a quantity of drugs.
Two men were arrested and one man appeared in court charged in connection with the discovery of a firearm during the searches.
