Gardaí seize €500k worth of heroin and cocaine in operation targeting gangs

A 24-year-old man was arrested during a seizure at a Dublin house.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN have seized large quantities of heroin and cocaine in an operation targeting drug trafficking gangs in the west of the city.

The drugs were recovered during the search of a house in Clondalkin yesterday evening. They discovered 3kg of heroin and 1kg of cocaine with a combined estimated street value of €500,000.

Other material, including what is believed to be mixing agent, was also found.

A 24-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Ronanstown garda station for questioning.
