A MAN HAS been seriously injured in a fire in south Dublin.
A fire broke out at a house in Milltown at around 7am.
Dublin Fire Brigade sent five fire engines and crew members to the scene to tackle the blaze, which was brought under control.
Two men, both in their 40s, were taken to hospital. One sustained serious injuries and the other sustained minor injuries.

A technical examination of the scene is due to take place today, however the cause of the fire is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
According to AA Roadwatch, the fire caused “extremely heavy traffic” to build up on the Milltown Road this morning, but the road has since reopened.
