THIS DUBLIN SCHOOL hasn’t learned how to read good.
The Hansfield Educate Together National School only recently moved to a new premises in Dublin 15. They needed a new gate for those premises.
Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked out as planned.
Fergal Collins, principal of the school, was understandably not pleased with the outcome, and told TheJournal.ie the mistake occurred when the builders of the school subcontracted the sign to a sign-writer.
He also assured parents:
It’s not a sign of things to come – the children will be able to spell.
Educate Together, which manages the school, has also responded to this article, stating that the unfortunate error is being corrected:
