THE HEALTH AND Safety Authority (HSA) and gardaí have launched investigations into the death of a man on a farm in Kerry yesterday morning.
It is understood the man suffered fatal crush injuries as he was putting up shutters at around 11.30am yesterday morning on his farm in Kilsacron in Currow.
RTÉ reports the man has been named locally as farmer Teddy Brosnan, a father of five.
His is the eighth farm death so far this year.
