Man arrested in connection with money missing from Kevin St Garda Station

The money was reported missing earlier this year.

A MAN HAS been arrested in connection with money that went missing from a garda station.

The money was reported missing from Kevin Street Garda Station earlier this year.

TheJournal.ie understands the cash amounts to €12,000. A garda spokesperson at the time confirmed a detective superintendent had been appointed to  examine the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of the money.

Today, gardaí confirmed that a 41-year-old man had been arrested in Dublin and is currently in custody.
