Man arrested after woman's body found in house in Kilkenny
Gardaí said the death of the woman, who was in her 70s, is “unexplained”.
A MAN IS in custody after the body of a woman in her 70s was discovered in a house in Kilkenny city this evening.
The scene is currently preserved and the body of the woman remains at the house.
The man is currently detained at Kilkenny Garda Station in relation to the incident.
The Gardaí said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman’s unexplained death.
